'The house was very clean, Steve was easy to work with, and there are plenty of supplies for us to use. This is the second time we have stayed at this house and improvements have been made. It was the right size for the two couples that stayed there.'

'The house was quaint and delightful, creatively arranged. We enjoyed the stay…our age would probably keep us from returning. Navigating the circular staircase required extra care…but fun and innovative for younger folks. We had just a bit of a challenge in getting to the right place - the address given didn’t match the property, but was quickly resolved.We would recommend the location - lots to do in the area.'

'This is a remarkable property tucked into the woods just west of Carbondale. Beautifully appointed. Gorgeous screened-in wrap around porch. Amazing bedrooms with en-suite baths. This was a very comfortable weekend retreat for our family. Would definitely book again!'

'This VRBO was new and swaggy! The decorating was impeccable! I wish I had her taste! We came down for a tour of the Shawnee Wine Trail and do some hiking and this house is perfectly located in the center of it all. It is a hop skip and jump from Giant City State Park which has fabulous hiking and really close to Cobden and Makanda both adorable little towns. Blue Sky Winery was our favorite after visiting 4 of the local wineries. We also enjoyed her outdoor living space on the back patio...

'The common area is SO cute and the studio was immaculate, well cared for, and had everything we could need. I would absolutely recommend staying here. The hosts were thoughtful, helpful and easy to reach. We didn’t have any issues, but they checked in to make sure everything was as expected. Don’t miss your chance to stay here. '
