The vintage 1956 airstream is super cool, even thought its been updated its a glimpse back in time, to a time when things were built with quality and built to last. The hot tub was awesome, very peaceful property, easy to relax. Lots of stuff to do in the area. Would definitely stay here again if we return to the area.'

'This was only the 2nd VRBO I have rented. My husband and I were looking for a place to watch the solar eclipse. We enjoyed this house. It has very nice decor and was well stocked. I was impressed that it even had a first aid kit, q-tips, and cotton balls. There were plenty of nice dishes and extra blankets. Easy check in and quiet neighborhood. The owner responsed quickly to questions prior to trip and followed up to make sure everything went well afterwards.'

'This was a cute, welcoming little cabin! It was clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We enjoyed staying there very much! Since we are tall, we really appreciated the tall, corded shower head! The bed was so comfortable and had amazing sheets 😁. We were also very happy to have a list of suggestions/recommendations for nearby restaurants and things to see and do. The owners were very nice and very responsive to our communications! We will definitely be visiting again!'

'Me and my family went to this property to view the total eclipse and enjoy some time away from home for a weekend. While we did catch a lot of clouds for the event the rest of the stay was quite enjoyable. We had no issues staying cool with the great airflow of the property, keeping the mosquitos out of the barn, or making simple meals. We enjoyed the fireflies and my toddler had a lot of fun following the local cat and playing at Old Baldy and the Blue Hole Playground (both only a short drive...

'I finally made it to my room a bit late. I had some quick issues with the temp and television settings. I sent a text to Jim (the owner), and he helped me get comfortable for the night. I loved the personal touch you do not see as good as in large hotel chains. Personalized touch with better shampoo, had wet wipes to use, little things like Listerine to use. I met Jim in the morning and thanked him for all the great hospitality. Very nice and genuine man.'

'We stayed in Megs Boarding House for my birthday weekend. Didnt help that it rained and a cold front came thru. But didnt stop us from utilizing the pool. I dont think id stay in megs boarding house again though and would definitely upgrade to a newer cabin. But glad i got to experience staying in there. Was very adorable, but walls are super thin and we were upstairs and man those stairs are steep ...and i get it...its old fashioned megs boarding house lol. But there was even dirt marked on the...

'If you are looking for a simple, no frills place to stay that is clean and comfortable, this place fits the bill. Bed was comfy, shower was great, bathroom was small but clean. No carpet in the room but the floors were clean. Our room actually had a small kitchen! Only downside is the elevator had a funky smell and hallway on the second floor smelled like spices. Otherwise the stay was great.'
