'The ladies at the front desk are not welcoming or nice unfortunately. One took my i.d and then argued “she did not have it” when she in fact did, and ended up giving it back. We saw a roach in our room the second night we stayed. The pool tables they advertised online are ran down and the pool sticks are broken with no tips on them. It wasn’t an absolute horrible stay as my kid enjoyed the water park, but i definitely wouldn’t spend the money i spent to stay here again. '

'We loved staying at The Strand!! The suite was spacious and offered every amenity needed. The decor was a bit outdated but it was clean. The ocean front view was spectacular, and the staff was accommodating. Breakfast every morning was pretty good. Overall very happy with our stay.'

'2 of the my 3 day stay the room next to me had construction renovations going on at 9/9:30 in the morning which was terrible for a vacation/ birthday celebration. Nevertheless on check out day the housekeepers and the front desk was on point with a wake up call promptly (there were 3 housekeepers when I opened the door felt like I was being attacked by the staff to hurry up and leave!) Very disappointed with my stay this time around. I stay at Bay View because of the Starbucks convenience....
