'I found communication slow the first 2days.I would suggest to not use the Auto Unlock option . The size of the houseboat is good!Outside chairs were not clean . They are now!! I cleaned them. Had an amazingly great time in Amsterdam.Good location!'

'Our family of four had a wonderful stay in Mathys houseboat! The views at night of the romantic skinny bridge alit were gorgeous and the glimpse of other boats cruising by the open portholes of the boat made you feel like you were in the midst of it all. A comfortable walk to the Van Gogh Museum and The Anne Frank House as well as great restaurants. We walk away with great memories of our experience here.'

'Loved the location and staying on the water. We did not have good weather so only got to enjoy the outdoor deck one night, but it was amazing! Sitting on the water and waving to all the people sailing by in their small boats. You get that sense of community. Walkable to bars, restraints, and a grocery store. Left recommendations and directions, which were spot on. I’m a light sleeper so the sound of nearby traffic and aquatic wildlife made it difficult for me but my husband never heard a thing....

'This houseboat is not fancy - but it is as comfortable as being at a friend's cabin - we didn't want to leave. We had not stayed in Amsterdam before, so wanted our first few nights to be something unique. The boat was perfect! It was close walking to everything, yet it was quiet and relaxing once inside. Watching the crowded tourist boats traverse the river was a fun diversion. Our friends staying in a hotel were jealous of the roominess experienced on the boat. While we didn't cook, the kitchen...
