In a quiet little cove of sorts, ample space for a family of four to spread out, fully equipped kitchen where we were able to make a full Christmas dinner, and stocked with everything we needed for a week's stay. Located across from a canal, it has extensive views of all the comings and goings on the canal. Beautiful! Please heed the owner's warning about the steep stairs. If you have mobility challenges in any way, this property is not for you. Having said that, my husband has a bum knee, and he was able to manage. Interior stairway offers child safety...

The tree-lined canal, the local restaurants and pubs, the early evening golden hour…all were great. Two things to note: the noise in the alley will definitely impact your sleep late into the night. 'This was a great place to stay while visiting Amsterdam. Boland is very easy to communicate with and is very informative. The place was well stocked and very comfortable. Although the stairs are steep, which is common in Amsterdam, my husband and I are 60 and were able to manage them with no problem. I would definitely stay there again!'

A picture postcard canal view out the bedroom window, and a lovely little terrace off the living room. All appliances and fixtures of the highest quality. Suffused with sunlight. When a little issue came up, Stan was on it graciously and immediately. I believe that this is the best experience we have ever had with VRBO.'
