'We had an amazing week hiking in Acadia, enjoying Bar Harbor, and on the water. The house is on the outskirts of Bar Harbor and we enjoyed the quiet location. We walked into town a few times but mostly drove since there is no sidewalk and it requires walking on the side of the road, but it was easy to get in and out. The house is dog friendly with a small yard. Overall, this was great and we would stay here again if we return to Bar Harbor!'

'This was the perfect location and the host was responsive and helpful. My only complaint is that the bed is terribly uncomfortable and even after tightening the frame it squeaks with the littlest movement. My husband actually went to sleep on the hide-a-bed towards the end of the stay (we went out and purchased a mattress pad to make it more comfortable) because the bed hurt his back so much. 'We had an awesome stay! Jay is a terrific host who is incredibly thorough and responsive. The condo is a little cozy for two people, but everything about it is top notch! The location is terrific, a short walk from the center of town and tons of bars, restaurants, and the Island Explorer. The condo is equipped with top notch accessories - towels, sheets, the bed, etc. - and an amazing TV?Surround sound system! I highly recommend!'
