The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Downstairs at the bar it was also nice to hang out. The only point of criticism was the breakfast, this was little for the amount charged. Great bed, fantastic pillows, sheets and towels, very dark with excellent blinds at first rate lighting options, excellent service, nice confortable bathroom, with Rain Shower from the ceiling (would be better with walk-in shower rather than bath, but nitpicking there).
Point of improvement would be to make all the buttons less...

"For the Beyonce concerts in June I went to this hotel. The room was really nice. The beds was really comfy and I liked the window seat. I had a pleasant stay and it was easy travelling to the hotspurs stadium as well as london city and LCY airport. Staff was nice and very friendly too."

"Het was een aangenaam verblijf voor een paar dagen London. We hebben het hotel vooral geboekt om te slapen, en daar is het perfect voor. De kamer is heel klein, maar superschoon en comfortabel. Heerlijke warme douche en grote handdoeken.
Het ontbijt is eenvoudig, maar lekker en goed verzorgd. Er zijn zelfs vegan en glutenvrije opties. Personeel was heel vriendelijk, al met al een uitstekende ervaring. We komen zeker terug bij een volgend bezoek aan de stad

"De locatie is briljant goed; kruipafstand van Barbican met veel cafe etc in de buurt. De kamer was netjes maar verbazend dat er niet meer water was en er was instant coffee. De wachttijd voor inchecken was vervelend. Voor zo'n duur hotel verwacht je dit niet. "

This might be nitpicking, but the biggest drawback I found was the minibar". It barely cools above room temp and this is a serious deal breaker for me. Apart from that, my 1 week stay was pretty much perfect.

The hotel serves a good breakfast where you can choose from the menu and walk around the buffet. The eggs florentine are really good. The spa was under renovation this time but we enjoyed using it before so definitely something you have to check out while you visit this hotel, it's free of charge for hotel guests. The rooms are spacious and we love the bed in this hotel! It's so so cozy. Location is perfect near Liverpool street & Moorgate station. Very central located so that means you're almost everywhere within max 20 mins. For us this is also very important."
