'The Pell is located in Middletown away from the noise, traffic and crowds of Newport. It is part of JVD, a Hyatt property. The facility is emaculately clean. The front desk was helpful, knowledgable and very accomidating. We originally did not know the facility did not have an elevator. So I called in advance and asked for a room change. They gave us a ground floor room. They have a pool on sight that is very clean with new chairs and fresh beach towels. Ther is a small fee for overnight...

'We were in Newport for the Jazz Festival. The accommodations were very good, location convenient for everything. Pictures accurately depict the property. The only thing that I would suggest be improved is the wifi. We ended up using our phone hotspot to connect when we were in the room. We would stay there again.'

'I do not recommend this place. We got almost no sleep our entire visit, there aren't real blinds on the bedroom windows - the blinds have gaps and don't block out light. The light from large liquor store sign across the street kept us up all night. The picture I included of the window was taken at 3 am, it's very bright. It's also very poorly insulated and we heard traffic all night.In addition to the noise and light, the unit wasn't well cleaned. We saw stains on one of the pillow covers, found...
