'A luxurious camping experience with running hot water, electricity, and use of a washer/dryer. Not many places to eat around and the closest "grocery store" is very expensive (12 for a gallon of milk). Make sure you plan ahead and bring mosquito repellent!! '

'I spent 10 nights here in November. This is a very clean cottage, very well maintained. The owner/host is awesome and was in the area taking care of his other cottages so I spoke with him a couple times. He even stopped by and dropped off a new air fryer for me one day. Worked out great for fish and crabcakes from Pahoa. What’s incredible about this place is the location. It’s right in the middle of the red road along the south eastern cliffs of the big island. this is easily the closest...

Check-in and check-out were the smoothest we’ve ever experienced, and the host was exceptionally accommodating. The location was ideal—just a short walk to downtown and the farmers market....
