'Theresa is an amazing host at an incredible property. It was great to interact with the animals. She helped us understand how to see the volcano eruption and even went out of her way to wake up other guests to be sure they didn't miss it. She has thought of everything including "junk" towels to clean up shoes after hiking. The breakfasts were delicious, and the papaya boats were excellent. The location near the volcano is convenient too. Excellent. Planning my return trip already '

'We had a wonderful stay at La Cappana. The historic cabin is in a fantastic location in Volcano town right near the Kilauea Lodge with its fantastic restaurant and the Swap Meet at the community center, and a quick and easy drive to the best of Volcano National Park. Even though it is so close to everything Volcano has to offer, the property feels very private with lots of native plants and trees. We enjoyed watching all the birds with our morning coffees We had an added bonus of visiting...
