'The room was perfect size for 2 people. It was homey feeling and did not have to pay for parking. It was 20ish minutes from everything we wanted to do. The bed was still wet when we got there and reeked of bleach. It seeped through one of my shirts and destroyed it. We had to sleep on the couch the first night. The owner still had laundry down stairs and said he would come in later to get it after we checked in. We waited till he got it to do anything. The door to their house is only lockable...

Upon arrival starting from light bulb went out in the dining room, broken futon bed, multiple blinds bended, cockroach inside the bathtub, note left inside kitchen drawer saying “towel in dryer”, no soap, no shampoo, no detergents.Oven is not working eventhough they came and checked on it, it’s not even hot after 10 mins, water leak in the basement, they said “no worry”. 'Three story townhouse sandwiched between others. Only issues with noise at night. There's a park close by that's frequented by lots of families in the evening. Driving into DC was pretty easy, and this home was a great base of operations. Some details in the house were a little shabby, which is understandable as a full-time rental.'
