'We selected this hotel because it had a beautiful view in the picture. When we arrived it had a lovely view of the sea, better than we expected. We had saved our money for one night to have a romantic evening with a view of the sea and bird watching in the early morning. But the room had many spiders, the sliding glass door didn’t securely lock (it would be easy for someone to break in), and people above us partied until 2;00 am. We were awake all night. 'The room was so interesting and beautiful. But the grounds were the best part, the outside areas were serene and well landscaped. My friend and I enjoyed sitting out or enjoying a hammock by the river often. I also enjoyed that there was a small row boat that I could row over to the beach area. We had our first dinner there and it was the most delicious meal of our 14 day trip (the volcano one).'

'The buildings and the rooms in this well maintained resort are the main attraction, the nature and the views are the strongest point. There are several restaurants on the site, however they were cloased most of the time, so the general buffet restaurant was the only option for dinner; and unfortunately is looks rather cheap and the food is rather average (and the house wine is undrinkable). Elisabeth, Oscar, and Raul were particularly outstanding in their attentiveness and kindness, but everyone we encountered was great.
