'Stayed here on business and ticket all the right boxes. The room was a bit warm though, despite that the heat had dropped off these last few days.
Nice bar area and nice selection of ales.
The restaurant was in a real pretty setting. Easy parking in the vicinity of the hotel and they even had parking spaces in front of the rooms which are at the back of the property. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff. '

'Overall a lovely stay. Our room was large, clean & comfortable with a balcony overlooking the front garden area. Good to have a fridge in the hot weather. We also appreciated the USB ports & other amenities. Comfortable armchairs & a comfotable bed, although the bedding was a little excessive for the hot weather - easy to remove the top layer though. The lovely bathroom was also a good size with a seperate bath & shower.
Our only frustration was the early morning traffic noise - we had to open...

'Booked here as a stopover on the way to Thoresby hall from Scotland as it was only a short drive off the motorway. We booked bed and breakfast at a very good price and we also had an evening meal. Both meals were great and the room even had an air con unit which was fantastic in the hot weather. The place was great value for money and we will certainly be back, can't thank the staff enough who were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
Well done and we hope to be back soon.'

'Location is the biggest plus. Breakfast is good but noise in our room was a little frustrating. Late night cleanup noise and early morning recycling pickup - perhaps louder than normal because we had to have the window open due to the temps and lack of a/c. The shower though was terrible. Water was slow to drain and we had to be very careful about water splashing and the handle of the sprayer was loose making that very challenging. I may look around more should we return to York.'

'Welcomed by the gentlemen, room was very spacious and had everything you need, bed was so comfy, excellent sleep.
Drove into Harrogate centre was round 15 mins.
Free parking.
Only down side was the restaurant and bar wasn’t open.'
