'Pros: location was great. Next to Bryant Park, so very close to a subway station. Price per night was excellent. Neutral: building itself was somewhat old. The elevator was one of the smallest I've seen before. If you're going up with luggage, it will barely fit 2 people and 2 suitcases. Rooms felt smaller in person than in the photos but that's fine. Con: there's no front desk to speak of. You have to communicate with the host thru private messages only. Turn around time for a response is...

'We were able to drop bags even earlier than originally offered - which was great, so we didn't have to drag luggage around the city. We had issue with the heat (it was actually too hot) but I texted the house-man and he was very responsive. Told us what we needed to do to cool down the bedrooms. Mid-way through our stay, house-man reached out to see if we needed anything. We'd stay there again. It was close to walk to most of the sites we visited.'
