'This was absolutely amazing! I am a solo traveler and was in D.C for 7 days, 5 of which I had spent in a hostel nearby. I didn’t my best in that hostel, so I left and decided to book my last night in DC at the Generator in a shared dorm room (they have shared, and private rooms). Right from the moment I entered the lobby, it was great. The atmosphere was great, the personnel (and guests) were so nice, and I felt immediately at home. 'Walking distance to main atractions and museums. First room we got was with clogged gutter. After change we got another room with bath that could not be used. They didn’t fix it. Friendly staff only gave us three bottles of water for inconvenience for the stay of three days. '

Erg jammer dat we tijdens het inchecken pas te horen kregen dat het zwembad gesloten was, vooral omdat we juist dit hotel geboekt hadden vanwege het binnen zwembad. Ontbijtbuffet erg duur voor wat je kan krijgen.'

'Wonderful historic hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. Close to Naval Academy and waterfront shops and dining (5-minute walk, tops). Also close to Maryland State House (across the street) and several other historical sites. Loved our stay, with many future stays planned as we visit our new Midshipman in the months and years to come.'
