'The host was very responsive but I found it difficult to use the Expedia app to communicate. I would get a message from Expedia saying the host has responded and when I pressed see message there would not be a message at the site'

'Safe, reliable, and clean!'

'Posizione dell'appartamento comodissima, spazioso e pulito. Ottima comunicazione con l'host, Gentilissimo. Check in e check out senza nessun problema.'

'There was one major problem in one tremendous problem. It was terrible that the air conditioning was not turned on prior to us getting there, even though I told you that I would be there by 4:00 or even earlier to drop off the bags. Why wouldn't you have the place cool and ready for us on such a hot day? The tremendous problem was that we couldn't figure out how to enter the code to get in at 11:00 p.m., and you didn't answer the phone to help with that. We had to rely on calling every apartment...

'The apartment was in a wonderful and safe location. The host was extremely responsive.'

'Exactly as described. Great location.'

'Overall this was a great stay and I would 100% stay here again. It's pretty small but that's what I was expecting for NYC. If you are expecting to come back to the place to eat, it wouldn't work for more then 4 people max and was hard for little kids. It was close by the metro which was perfect to get places. Centrally located so great to get everywhere needed. Yummy food close by including a great bagel place two doors down. The beds were comfortable and everything felt clean. We only had one...

'Thank you for letting us use your place for Valentine’s Day weekend. The apartment was clean and had every amenity possible. When we’re in New York again I hope to stay here again.'

'**Public Service Announcement: DO NOT RENT FROM THIS HOST**This was one of the most horrific rental experiences I have ever had.The problems started the moment we arrived. The apartment's doorknob was visibly broken. When I contacted the host through the VRBO messaging system, she immediately tried to move the conversation to WeChat, which was the first major red flag. She then sent me a separate text message from her personal phone requesting payment through Zelle, which is clearly against VRBO...

'We stayed at the apartment for 5 nights in February and could easily have stayed a month... The apartment was clean, nicely furnished, and a very short walk from dozens of great restaurants and shops, as well as the subway. Considering that the apartment is only one flight up from a vibrant street and has lots of windows, we couldn't believe how quiet it was. The owner sent along really clear instructions in advance -- checking in and out couldn't have been easier. We would definitely stay here...

'Everyone was very responsive'

'The apartment and bed were very comfortable. Location and views were amazing. Very easy to get to many NYC attractions. Bear Donuts across the street was a favorite spot for a quick breakfast. Communication with the host was easy and readily available. Would stay here again.'

'This charming rental exceeded every expectation. The host was exceptional, with outstanding communication and genuine hospitality that made the entire stay seamless and enjoyable. The location could not be better. It is just steps from Chelsea Market, the High Line, Trader Joe’s, excellent cafés, restaurants, and convenient subway access. The apartment was comfortable, welcoming, well stocked and perfectly situated for exploring the city. I would not hesitate to stay here again and highly...
