The space is very small and presents several maintenance issues, including a heavily worn toilet, windows sealed with adhesive tape that allow cold air to enter, and gaps in the window frames. 'Great location and well equipped apartment . Security of the entrance was good , felt a safe neighbourhood and close to theatre district .Would have liked the location entry instructions a little earlier but managed to make it work as we were arriving late it’s always a concern when you go somewhere new . 'It was not where it was listed but it was a good spot just had one set of bunks so one adult slept on the top. It was in the garment district near the empire state building. There was one bedroom with a double and the main part of the apartment had the other double with the bunk beds. The kitchen was good and stocked with basic dishes. 'This was an unregistered listing in violation of New York Law. Both the property management team and VRBO are violating the law. Neighbors informed us they would be calling the police. In addition the apartment door was plastered with violation notices. The external door key also was not functioning. I have asked for a refund. Terrible experience.'

'The apartment itself had nice updated decor, a clean, efficient & spacious kitchen, nice bathroom and plenty of natural light w/ small outdoor private patio. Best part though was the location. Upper West Side and 1/2 block from Central Park, quiet treelined street, lowrise townhouses, and 1 block from subway. Check-in very easy. Owner/host communicates best using WhatsApp rather than VRBO messaging.'

'Very clean place'

'The place we ended up staying was relatively clean but we weren't in the apartment that we paid for. We couldn't check in at 4p because there was reportedly water damage at the apartment. We were told they would call us back in an hour with a new place but we had to call them back repeatedly and finally got a hold of someone on the phone after 10pm and after paying additional money.
