'We needed a space to sleep 10 and this house did. It is very spacious, we all had our own private space. I also needed space to do some baking for my son's wedding and this house provided 2 spaces to bake! It worked out very well for me. It was really convenient to have 2 ovens and 2 refrigerators to use. There are a couple of suggestions for the kitchens, add kitchen towels and also pot holders. Those items would have been nice to have. The basement was a dream for kids with the various games...

'The proper tea was well furnished and easy to find. There was lots of things to do on the property and it was located 30 minutes from Busch Gardens. We had a great time.'

'Loved every minute vacationing at the Guest House "Holly Hill" in Charles City, VA! The Saltwater Pool was extremely luxurious and relaxing! Even though we had quite a few days of rain, the sun still came out long enough for us to swim in the pool! The two new managers Justin and Charles were very nice and helpful. This was their first year managing the property and they did an excellent job! Was sad that Steve Rula, Jr has retired and we missed not seeing his smiling face! Wish Steve the best...

'This is my second time staying at this property and both times we had a great experience. While the decor in the units is a bit outdated, they are spacious, clean and have everything you need for a pleasant stay. They amenities and common areas (pool, playground, tennis courts) are all accessible and clean. Very family friendly and close to everything! '

'Tony B the staff member that checked me in was excellent. Room was spacious, beds comfortable. We didn’t stay at the main lodge we stayed in the cottages and loved it. Like a little village.'

'The activity room and pool was my childrens favorite part. I loved the gym. The room needs an update and better cleaning. I was told on the second day that we weren’t supposed to be in that room. Overall, we had a good time. '

'Voordeel van dit hotel is dat het erg dichtbij pretpark Busch Gardens Williamsburg ligt. De kamer was ruim en de bedden lagen prima. Echter zat er wel een grote gele vlek in het beddengoed en een oude bloedvlek. Medewerkers waren ook niet allemaal even vriendelijk.'

'Everyone was friendly, and check in/out was simple. The hotel was very accessible to travel to and from, and I had zero issues getting back there any of my nights out. There were also a ton of local food options. My room/suite was spacious, clean and quiet…I could barely hear anything from out in the hallway, and I’m a super light sleeper. Overall, Patriot’s Inn was affordable and checked all my boxes. If/when I’m in the area next, I would definitely look to stay there again.'
