'A new building designed in the style of colonial era homes. Larry and Patricia were terrific hosts. Breakfast was made to order and amazing, including biscuits made according to Larry’s grandmother’s recipe. Comfy bed, plush towels. The dimmer switches for the lights are a great touch. Plenty of parking, nice large backyard with tons of birds. Remote location so it’s nice and quiet. Absolutely would stay here again! '

'Great for family get away. Didn't get to use hot tub. Fished from dock but no fish. Lots of activity on river...fishing tournament from park and several boat races. It was entertaining.. Beds comfy but needed my feather pillow. Location and proximity to everything was great. Thank you again.'

Indian Fields is a short drive away and it has a great vibe and good food. I settled in easy and had a very relaxing stay. The drive to Williamsburg was peaceful and well worth it as well. '

'Loved the location. Bearing able to walk to everything. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast wasn’t much and the staff in there wasn’t as good as the rest of the hotel. The hotel overall just needs some updates and upkeep. Starting to look run down, but so was the visitor center.'
