'Exactly what we needed, and really wish we'd had a whole week. It was peaceful, comfortable, with everything you'd need. We didn't realise there was even coffee to try the espresso machine! Next time... Brought my parents here as we'd stayed at the old Barrington Guest House when I was a kid. Still a beautiful area. We did the Blue Gum Track, and a whole lot of bird-watching, even seeing lyrebirds for the first time. Dungog is worth a visit - a small community-focused town. Hopefully we'll be...

'From the moment we pulled up we knew this was a special place, with an amazing view over the valley and kangaroos to greet us. I watched a possum & baby at night and lots of bird life and lizards around.The house was set up beautifully with everything we could want. 'Great spot to relax and enjoy the bush. Everything you need provided for a great break away. Hot tub and outside deck was fantastic and internet available was a first after many stays at country cabins. Highly recommended.'

The rumpus room with pool table and table tennis table was a huge bonus and we were the envy of others that stayed there. The house was great and we did not need anything else to make our stay better, we were warned to bring everything with us. All the wildlife around was wonderful as well, reminded us that we live in Australia. It was a shame that we could not fully go on the long bush walks on...
