'Classic old plantation house that’s got modern conveniences.'

'We stayed here after a wedding in Hanover and it was the perfect place to wind down and relax in a clean comfortable space. The beds were really nice and comfortable with nice quality linens. The bathroom was clean- bring your own soap, no complimentary toiletries here. The kitchen was roomy and fun to cook breakfast in. Would definitely stay here again.'

'The farmhouse was so lovely and had everything we needed! The hosts were accommodating and communicative. We had a wonderful stay!'

'We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. The bed was comfortable. The surroundings were peaceful. The cottage was very clean. And the hosts were top notch, there to help without being intrusive. We look forward to returning in the future and seeing this wonderful property and family again. on a side note, we were there for a local dog show but it would be a fabulous retreat for a city family wanting to enjoy the farm lifestyle'

'The host, Larkin, was quick to respond to any questions, and he let me know that the property was ready for early check-in.The vintage home was charming and easily accessible. The kitchen and bathrooms were updated and worked well. Despite the very cold weather, the house was warm and comfortable. The bedroom configurations were good for our extended family of 9.'

'The beds were comfortable with good mattresses. Never ran out of hot water. Well supplied kitchen. HVAC was right on. This all made for a comfortable stay.'

'We had an incredible time at this property. Our group of seven have been vacationing together for 20 years and we always look for a place with a pool and enough places to sleep for everyone. This was probably our top property we’ve ever stayed at! Everything about it felt so well thought out and accommodating. We hope to stay here again and again if possible!'

'Very nice property! Quiet and picturesque. Well stocked kitchen and bedroom with supplies ie cleaning supplies, towels etc. We would definitely come back!'

'Our family of four loved our stay at the Moss Side Manor house. The house was very comfortable and we loved the historic furnishings. The farm setting was very interesting. We saw the farm manager feeding the cows and he kindly gave us an impromptu lesson on the farm and area properties. The house was also close to several restaurants and a short drive to Williamsburg. All in all a great visit. Highly recommended.'

'Steven was the best host. The home was perfect. Beautiful space inside. Lovely big landscaped backyard. He had delicious homemade cake for us to eat. It was a great weekend celebrating my sons wedding'

'The house was very nice . The host was very helpful and answered all our questions. The kids loved the bunk room. All rooms were clean and spacious. Kitchen was great with all the people we had. Used the grill several times. And loved the dock.We took large floats and put over ,also had our boat tied up. The current is very strong. We had a great vacation.'

'Totally loved our stay. We are using it as a benchmark for our future higher end short term rental.'
