"Before we arrived at the hotel, we received a form to fill out with all our details. A few days before our arrival, we were required to check in online to avoid waiting at the hotel. However, on the day of our arrival, we still had to wait about half an hour to check in again. In the meantime, I was browsing a shop in the hotel and accidentally dropped a magnet, which I had to pay for—it cost around 260 pesos. There was no elevator. While the view from our ocean-view room was nice, the room itself could have been cleaner. We managed, but the bedsheets were too thin, and we could see the mattress, which wasn’t very clean. There was no air conditioning, only a fan, which caused discomfort. The noise from the fan was unbearable—it hurt my ears and gave me a headache! I couldn’t sleep at all because of the noise, but when I turned it off, it was too hot. I ended up leaving it on for the entire week, and the temperature never went below 25°C. It was truly an unpleasant stay. The food was served in an open buffet. Since we don’t eat meat, it was disturbing to see that the same utensils were used for both meat and non-meat items. For example, they were cooking meat and then using the same spatula to serve pasta. "

"Kijk verder! Wij hebben bijna 2 uur gewacht tot onze kamer klaar was, terwijl er stond dat we er na 3 uur in konden. Toen we bij de kamer aankwamen stond de deur open want het slot was geforceerd en lag eruit de latten waar de deur in moest vallen was helemaal doormidden. De zwembaden zijn echt heel erg vies!!! Echt veelste veel appartementen voor de buitenruimte die ze aanbieden! Ja de Mexicanen die er werken zijn onwijs vriendelijk en behulpzaam net als in heel Mexico en jawel dat moet gezegd worden als je overdag ander vertrier opzoekt en als je dan gelukt hebt (vroeg in de rijen staan) dan is het eten in de restaurants prima. Maar overal nee het is het geld zeker niet waard! "
