'Checkin very friendly, the park is super clean, parking easy. Apartment good with lot of extra's like dishwasher, washing machine, coffee etc. Close to the black beach. Although there is not much around the location (20-30min drive for a supermarket), thats not the worst. On the big island everything takes time to drive, so for a relaxing place, this hotel is recommended.'

'We sent our son and new daughter-in-law here for their honeymoon. They said the resort exceeded their expectations! They had a great time :) They were upgraded to an ocean view room as soon as they checked in, loved the lagoon, thought the activities director was wonderful, really enjoyed the all day tour of the entire island (great tour guide) and the luau, and even saw the erupting volcano. Great experience for them- highly recommend!!'

'The room was big with everything we needed, including a kitchenette and a Terrace. From the Terrace we could see a sliver of the ocean. The bathroom was excellent with a walk in shower. There was no AC, but multiple fans did a great job of moving the air around. A big kitchen was available outside the units, where we could cook and serve and eat a full meal. Fresh fruits and veggies were provided from the site plantation. We really appreciate that. It was very enjoyable to spend time there. '

'Lohaki Lodge is very conveniently located in the village of Volcano. We were very comfortable staying here. Close proximity to the National Park. '

'My husband and I stayed here with friends and had a wonderful stay. We had a partial ocean view and they had an ocean view. Rooms were spacious and service was great. The grounds are pretty and we enjoyed the private beach with snorkeling available at your feet. I wish they would have had umbrellas available on the beach, but once the shade disappeared, we just moved over to the pool area and grabbed umbrella chairs. Perfect sunsets at night.'
