'Stayed in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg many times and try a new hotel each time. No need to do that any longer as we will be repeat visitors at Country Cascades! Unfortunately we began having car troubles during our trip, so it was difficult to commute to all the activities we hand planned. Made me so grateful we chose this hotel there was plenty to do without even leaving! Gem mining, build a buddy, indoor and outdoor waterparks,, bowling, rock clinbing, VR, arcade and more. 'I booked this for me and my teenage son for a weekend sports tournament. Is this the newest, shiniest, swankiest, and most-updated hotel in the city? HOLY LORD, NO!!! Actually, it is antiquated and looks like it has been around since the mid-90s without renovation. HOWEVER…the hotel is exceptionally clean, the staff is gloriously helpful/friendly, and the accommodations are just as good as any high-priced four-star hotel.
