"What a classic. My room was small but cosy, very nice bed and good amenities. The overall style is a bit darkish but that's in line with the original design. The lobby is fantastic art deco styled. The absolute highlight of the hotel is the pool. The setting is very Hollywood, the cabins, the restaurants, the service. All ace."

"Affordable hotel with spacious rooms. Good value for money. The hotel is located in a safe area. There are a number of bus stops near the hotel that can bring you to Downtown Los Angeles or to Hollywood, Fairfax and Beverly Hills. Along those bus lines you can also transfer to the metro lines, which means you can pretty much reach the entire Los Angeles metropolitan area using public transit using the nearby bus stops. For groceries there is a Ralph's supermarket nearby and there are a number of diners nearby as well. The Glendale Galleria mall is a few bus stops away as well. A good hotel that offers good value."
