'AC definitely did not get cold. Ceiling fan did not work either, we were given a box fan at least. I’d say the pictures of the property on Expedia were a little generous for the quality of the room we had. We seemed to be the only ones there the night we stayed and if that is the best room available with a poorly working ac unit and non functional fan I wouldn’t want to see the other rooms. 'What a magical place! The staff was so helpful, ensuring we had everything we need due to the upcoming storm. They even texted us when the volcano was fountaining so we could rush to view it! The kids loved waking up to the sights and sounds of a rainforest. Beautiful location.'

'What a cool experience to stay in a rainforest loft! Great location only a few minutes from Volcanoes National Park. The unit was well-appointed and updated. It was a little lacking in regards to the kitchen (i.e. utensils, oven/stove limited capability). The hot tub at the end of a jungle path was so atmospheric, although could’ve been a bit cleaner. All in all, we really enjoyed this unique stay.'

'My family stayed here for a week for celebrations and a family reunion. The property is stunning and the hosts are kind, welcoming and well-informed on the area and property. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen extremely well-equipped (a vitamix!) 'Two of the towels were not cleaned and still hanging behind the bathroom door. Some of the towels had stains on them. The property was ok but not super clean. It was just for one night so we were fine with it otherwise would not recommend staying in it for multiple days. The sofa bed was quite old. Definitely not worth $200+ per night.'

'I had no hot water for my 3 night stay. Cold water only. The owner said to check the circuit breaker. I did. That didn’t solve anything.I was really looking forward to a nice outdoor hot tub after hiking all day in the rain. The switch to turn on the hot tub jets wasn’t working. The owner said a previous renter broke the switch so I had no jets. The water was warm but tub was dirty.The light on kitchen counter was broken so there was no light to prepare anything to eat.'
