'The Spark property is seemingly brand new and beautiful. The room was spacious, bed very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom excellent. The bathtub was larger than most, and clean. Breakfast offered choices and was very good. Location was safe with ample parking. All in all, the hotel far exceeded our expectations, especially for the modest cost.'

'Parking instruction isn’t clear. Attitude of front desk at night shift is utterly, totally, completely, terribly, unacceptably horrible. We should be treated with courtesy, not bad attitude. '

'I believe the staff is well intentioned but they are under-staffed. I was there 3 nights. No one ever came in to clean/check my room. I didn't need anyone to make my bed and I'm ok with the same towels for 3 days but I had to go looking for toilet paper and never got my coffee pods replaced with new ones. When you call the front desk they frequently do not answer and no one told me there was a complimentary breakfast until I asked, on the 3rd morning, where to get some food.'

'We were there for multiple nites. After the first one we had to ask the front desk to have our room serviced as had not been. The staf dealing with guests are excellent, very friendly and goi g out of their way to accommodate us. The breakfast cook was excellent '

'What’s the coolest, most “un-hotel” hotel in the ROCH? School 31! Incredibly accommodating, attentive service, bespoke loft spaces interestingly designed in an historic re-purposed space. GO THERE!'

'Love this hotel. They have remodeled it since last we stayed. Looks great. Issues. The bathroom in the lobby. Someone broke the door off the stall. Not sure how long it was like that but no one was trying to fix it. There was a stained bed sheet by laundry room in the hall. Not hotels fault but someone should have not let it sit for an entire night. Lastly, hall by rooms 130s smelt like animal urine. If guests are extended they should clean after themselves. Hotel just needs to be more...

'This hotel looks a little bit like it's from an old horror movie. Very long dark hallways. We entered into our room and there were splatters of something running down the wall, some sort of white stains all over the bag the blow dryer was in, the bottoms if the doors were all splintered and I could not bring myself to walk barefoot on the carpet. We lifted the mattress up to check for cleanliness and found a used sleep mask. I would not stay there again.'
