'Stayed for 3 nights September 25’. Everything except the heat and humidity were fantastic. The staff is wonderful. Our room was spotless. Everything you need is either within walking distance or a train or bus stop is within 6-8 minute walk. Beautiful place. We would highly recommend. '

'We stayed at 4 different hotels in Japan and this one was our favourite. We were grateful to check in earlier (1pm) rather than 3pm. The hotel has a reception that is manned early in the morning to late in the evening. It is about 10 mins walk to Kyoto Station and the area outside the hotel is quiet. Across the bridge to the right of the hotel is a train station (about 5 minutes walk) and there is a 7 Eleven a few properties down. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. 'We have a room with a little bit more space then the room of our friends at the same floor. The hotel is quite new. There are enough USB charging points in the room. Unfortunately the USB at my bed side was not working. The breakfast is quite good, Enough Japanese and western food to choose. Location is good, 1 stop from Kyoto train station and walking distance to the center'

'Modern hotel, located close to the railway station and public transport (you are likely to need these to reach the main sights of Kyoto). Nice quiet room with great temple view, suitable for a family of 4. Comfortable beds, excellent breakfast with many options, nice bath with sauna. Very helpful staff.'

'Clean rooms. Well appointed with coffee/tea/snacks and mini bar. Very relaxing. Restaurant was very good for dinner and traditional Japanese breakfast (NOT Western style if that is your hope) walkable to transit, convenience stores, restaurants and some traditional temple sites.
