'Received an unexpected upgrade and describing it as superb is an understatement. This property was quiet and in a safe neighborhood. Easy access to local bus and restaurants was a plus. Highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Kyoto.'

'Nice clean rooms in a convenient neighborhood (subway station is just across the bridge, fresco supermarket, 7-11 and FamilyMart nearby). Kyoto Station is a little far, so you may need a taxi to/from, especially with luggage. Gion district and pontocho alley also within walking distance. Staff is friendly and helpful. I’d say the only improvements would be more laundry machines (there’s basically 6 washers and 6 dryers for the entire place) or have rooms with machines. Would definitely...

'Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Genji Kyoto. Alles war perfekt, vom Anfang bis zum Ende. Die Location ist perfekt: sehr ruhig, in der Nähe des Flusses, und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind auch zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Innenarchitektur des Hotels ist atemberaubend. 'Every detail was curated, nothing was left unplanned both in the bedrooms and in the common areas. Location was perfect, quiet and well connected to the metro and main Kyoto train station. The Onsen facility was a nice moment in the evening to relax and experience a traditional ritual. Breakfast was also very good and the staff available to help with any query. Only note the laundry area was frequently busy plan ahead if you need to wash your clothes. Overall, highly recommended!'

'The room we got was a double bed and a twin. It was huge, super clean, the A/C was super cold which we loved because its mid May and its super hot. Theirs enough room for luggage to be opened, to sit and relax. You have access to any little toiletres and towels near the elevator which is a plus. '
