'Friendly staff. Well laid out room with washing machine, kitchenette facilities, and a comfy bed. Tasty but somewhat limited breakfast (scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes, 2 cereals, and coffee etc). Perfect for us but don't expect a massive buffet.'

'After our shoebox adventure in Hiroshima, this apartment felt like a slice of paradise! It was so spacious and clean, definitely a dream come true for a family of four. The two toilets? Absolute lifesavers! We stayed for two nights and then we ventured into the Pokémon-themed room for a night of fun. Let me tell you, that main room was almost double the size of the Pokémon room, which was a delightful surprise. Honestly, I wouldn’t fault a single thing about our stay. It was just perfect! 'Modern hotel, located close to the railway station and public transport (you are likely to need these to reach the main sights of Kyoto). Nice quiet room with great temple view, suitable for a family of 4. Comfortable beds, excellent breakfast with many options, nice bath with sauna. Very helpful staff.'

'We had the most fabulous stay at this cosy and well-located Ryokan. The staff were incredibly sweet and service-minded, and the lady owner was such a treat!, warm, welcoming, helpful, and she went above and beyond to make sure we had the most perfect honeymoon stay. Our room was spotless and charming. We still talk about the matcha cookie from JAL that was specially ordered for us. We will surely be back next time we are in Kyoto! '

'Great location, excellent staff, very close to station, shops and restaurants. Would recommend a western bed rather than sleeping traditional style on the floor but that was totally our choice. Bath facilities downstairs are great and can book private couples baths. View was poor and aircons for building next door noisy through closed windows.'
