'Every detail was curated, nothing was left unplanned both in the bedrooms and in the common areas. Location was perfect, quiet and well connected to the metro and main Kyoto train station. The Onsen facility was a nice moment in the evening to relax and experience a traditional ritual. Breakfast was also very good and the staff available to help with any query. Only note the laundry area was frequently busy plan ahead if you need to wash your clothes. Overall, highly recommended!'

'We loved our stay at Saju Kyoto. We arrived early and they looked after our bags until it was time to check in. When we checked in we were served matcha tea and Japanese cakes in our room. The room was very tiny but so comfortable, cosy and traditional. The futons were the most comfortable beds we had during all our time in Japan! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming.
