'Every detail was curated, nothing was left unplanned both in the bedrooms and in the common areas. Location was perfect, quiet and well connected to the metro and main Kyoto train station. The Onsen facility was a nice moment in the evening to relax and experience a traditional ritual. Breakfast was also very good and the staff available to help with any query. Only note the laundry area was frequently busy plan ahead if you need to wash your clothes. Overall, highly recommended!'

'Great location, only 5min walk to closest subway station. Great hosts who were very responsive and gave us a lot of great recommendations on matcha ceremony and sake tasting. Not to mention there are 4 complimentary activities included (matcha, sake, fan painting, and card game). Unit is small but very cozy if you want to experience sleeping on futons.'

'Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im Genji Kyoto. Alles war perfekt, vom Anfang bis zum Ende. Die Location ist perfekt: sehr ruhig, in der Nähe des Flusses, und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind auch zu Fuß erreichbar. Die Innenarchitektur des Hotels ist atemberaubend.
