'The rooms are always cozy and quiet, as well as the bathrooms are AMAZING here. I love the japanese style washroom as well as the beds are comfy. Only complaint is they are a little low to the ground, but the only person who had a problem with that was my parents. Other than that this property is so beautiful and quiet and low key, my favorite place to stay thank you all in Kyoto!!'

'Such an unforgettable Japanese experience in the heart of Kyoto! The traditional house is well kept and equipped, offers us a very comfortable place for living. The place is centrally located, close to JR and metro stations. Close by there are plenty of shopping and dining opportunities, all very local. Communication with the ower was easy and responsive. 'We loved our stay here. The beds were large and very comfortable, the bathroom was also good sized with a fantastic shower. Everything tasteful and spotless. The staff was very flexible for us arriving later and departing earlier than typical front desk hours. They were very responsive and kind. We were sad to leave. The gyoza restaurant downstairs was also very good and a perfect pick-me-up after a long day. It is a decent walk (9m) to the trains but close to some bus lines. We weren’t bothered...
