'Small 12 room hotel located in a nice quiet area but still close and walkable to many of the touristy areas. Beautiful room and the shower/bath was truly a spa like experience. Bed was very nice as well. Get the Japanese breakfast served in your room at least once. It was a memorable meal. '

'We had a very comfortable 5 nights in a two bedroom suite. The suite was large, very clean and equipped with good quality furniture and appliances. The beds were very comfortable. The area was safe, close to a number of convenience stores, only five min walking distance to a train station and within walking distance to many restaurants. 'I absolutely LOVED the Ace Hotel in Kyoto. There is a subway station accessible right from the lobby which was SO convenient, and several bus stations within a block or two of the hotel. It was also walkable to many other staple sights like Nishiki market and Teramachi Street. The room and hotel amenities were fantastic. I loved the overall look and vibe of the space. '
