As a family of four from Canada, it was unbelievable
Rooms were much bigger than the other hotels we found and there was so much to do
Young cool vibe in the lobby, with great music paying and a young friendly hip staff working all around.
Coffee shop was amazing, we had the lates and breakfast croissant and it was perfect for breakfast

'Awesome place. The afternoon tea is a bonus. I would recommend adding a fabulous coffee machine at breakfast (like they have at afternoon tea) and a few more breakfast items to choose from. The made to order eggs delicious. '

'Our stay at the Shijo Takakura Hotel grandreverie was great! It was the most memorable room of our trip to Japan, a great design and lots of space. The stone shower and bathtub were especially luxury. The staff was incredibly attentive. It's the one place we'd immediately go again!'

'We stayed at Yadotu Kyoto Hanare for 6 days and it was amazung!! This place is truly extraordinary - you get lots of space, full comfort and luxury in real, authentic Japanese way. It was a real pleasure to come back to this wonderful home after a long day filled with fantastic experiences. We are very thankful for having the opportunity to stay here. 'Very spacious and clean rooms, having a washing machine and dryer inside the room was a huge bonus. The neighborhood is walkable and in a safe area. Front desk staff was extremely welcoming, polite, warm, and most of all professional. Above and beyond my expectations, we truly feel welcomed and at home. Thank-you'
'Excellent place to stay in Gion. Really nice location, convenient. Attentive staff but they will not get in your way. Nice bathroom with a Japanese-style shower and tub area. Very clean and nice amenities. Although no breakfast provided, they provide suggestions and a convenience store is right across the street.'

'This is listed as a 3 star hotel. It is not. It is the most luxurious hotel we’ve stayed at, including 5 star properties. The room was amazing. The location was perfect. Although everyone in Japan seems extraordinarily nice, the staff here beat even that standard. There was not one second of our time at this property that wasn’t perfect. 10/10. '
