'Perfect stay. Everything was clean, the employees were really friendly and also felt the hostel really save with all the doors that needed to be opened by card. This was for the homeless people outside. Also perfect location!'

'I would encourage this listing to be more transparent about what the facility is really like. Unrenovated. The floor is shared with long-term/medium-term stay individuals. As well, it is connected to a retirement home and a daycare. There may have been some of the retirement folks in the kitchen facilities, or maybe they were the long-term folks I sensed. There isn't a traveller vibe at all, more like a hospital ward. The price is great, but you should know what you are getting yourself...

'Bij aankomt is gebleken dat er met cash betaald moest worden, met creditcard moest er 10% extra bij het totaalbedrag opgeteld worden. Dit stond niet vermeld op de website bij Hotel.com. Verder is de locatie prima. Dichtbij het metrostation, supermarkt en MacDonalds. De kamer en gedeelde badkamer is in oude staat.'

'Traditional hostel vibes, with lots of artwork and photos of regular guests. Great location close to Byward Market. Shared kitchen and fridge, back covered patio with picnic table. The staff person was friendly and gave me a good tour. The furniture and kitchenwares are run down. The couch for example sunk a lot, knives were dull. The chairs in the kitchen don't match, for example. The towels have been around a long time. I chose a 4 person shared dorm and I must not have read properly. I...

'Comfortable, affordable stay in downtown Toronto. The location is great, close to many shopping and dining opportunities on Queen Street West. An easy streetcar away from the financial district? Eaton’s Centre, and other downtown attractions.'

'Two guest sharing the dorm were great guys, respectful and quiet: genuinely nice. I didn't meet the noisier third who arrived after 2am cursing to himself for whatever reason. Can't fault the place for that. The house is UNBELIEVABLE! Tanya is amazing. Thanks for everything! (I think I left my earbuds there, heh)'
