'We stayed in the deluxe loft room and it was really lovely. We very much appreciated the air conditioning as the temperature outside was in the 30s! Beds were very comfortable and it was good to have a proper fridge, oven and coffee maker. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was very good, not just a dribble of water like a lot of places! 'My wife and I were doing a meandering drive from Ottawa to Montreal. We made a last-minute decision to stay here, grabbing the last room available. We knew it was a remote location, so our expectations were not high. Owner Dominic, however, has created a jewel along the Ontario side of the Ottawa River that I highly recommend for lodging and, more importantly, the food! The property used to be solely a restaurant, but post-pandemic, Dominic and his brother decided to turn the third generation...

'The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant serves a good breakfast at an affordable price. The property is clean and well maintained, although the running water has a slight iron smell. It’s conveniently located near lakes, making it ideal for visitors who enjoy canoeing.'

'The customer service was excellent. They fixed a problem with the air-conditioner instantly. The keyless entry system was convenient. All I needed was a code, unique to me and easy to remember, to unlock the door to my room. It was nice to have a Keurig in the room, although I did not try to use it. I did try to use the toaster oven and micro-wave. Neither worked, but since I did not need them, I didn't bring it to management's attention.'
