It’s surrounded by maple forest, like living in a nice cabin. This is not modern hotel, if you set your expectation right, you will not be disappointed. All the stuffs are so kind and warm. They are great people dedicated to their jobs and it makes me want to visit Kyoto again.'

'Kyoto Brighton is een prachtig hotel voor een verblijf in Kyoto. Het ligt niet echt centraal maar door hun privé (gratis)ter beschikking gestelde taxi bus die elk kwartier reed van en naar metro station is dit geen probleem. Wir haben uns zu sechst sehr wohl gefühlt, die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter hat auch sehr gut geklappt. Pas bij het afrekenen bleek dat dit dus de minibar was. Het stond ons inziens nergens aangegeven. Maar okay ze waren lekker dus betaal je ervoor bij het uit checken. "

"Prima hotel, ze hebben een systeem dat jezelf water moet ophalen , je ontvangt dan elke dag een pasje op je kamer diende bij de receptie kan inwisselen voor water, ik vind dat veel gedoe en heb het liever gewoon standaard op de kamer , ze vergaten ook 4 keer om de kaart op de kamer achter te laten, de receptie maakte hiervan geen probleem.
