'This was my second stay at the Shell Motel, which tells you I had a positive experience the first time. I was recognized upon arrival and both Guy & Pierre are always so friendly and want to make sure I had everything I need. They offer suggestions as to local resources (e.g., groceries, restaurants, where to park, etc). The pool was amazing and housekeeping somehow knew not to disturb me early in the day and then showed up in the afternoon with fresh towels. I’ve grown attached to this little...

'Facility and staff and room were great. Including great shower water pressure and very comfortable beds and pillows. Very modern and fresh. Everything was as advertised except the price. Be ready for additional charges once you arrive at the hotel. There is a security deposit which will be refunded which I’m cool with, but there was not a small resort fee that will not be refunded that I was unaware of. So keep that in mind when looking at the price. This place is still worth the additional cost...

'Awesome location to the beach, bars, restaurants, and of course, the boardwalk. We loved the beautiful rooftop pool area. The staff everywhere were extremely helpful and communicative. Any questions we had were answered almost immediately through messaging. Very clean with comfortable beds. Had all the amenities we needed for a long weekend stay. If you're planning a visit to the Hollywood Beach area, we would highly recommend it.'

'Avoid this property, 1st of all reached out through Expedia a week before my stay to get check in details , didn’t hear anything back had to call once we arrived at the airport and received a code , drove to the location to find the road closed to the property and surrounding streets being tow away zones and paid parking, I booked the property because of free on site parking , had to park 4 blocks away at an hourly meter spot at $5 an hour , walked with suitcases which was a struggle for my...

'We hadden geboekt voor een appartement met keuken en slaapkamer met kanaalzicht. We kregen echter een gewone hotelkamer met zeezicht. De kamer was wel gerenoveerd en zag er prima uit. Omdat we te moe waren, na onze vlucht van 10 uur en nog een hoop gedoe op de luchthaven van Miami hebben we niet gereageerd op het feit dat we niet gekregen hadden waarvoor we hadden geboekt maar het was niet zoals het hoort.'
