'This was the best experience I'd had at a hotel in years, and that includes some fancier 5-star hotels. Every single aspect of the stay was perfect.
The morning breakfast was vast and delicious.
The lobby and counter staff were helpful and friendly.
The cleaning folks were friendly and kind and welcoming.

'The place is very basic. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, it did the job. It is no longer in a very good area. It shows age. It looks like some of the rooms in the back were apartments (I may be very wrong). It is not some place I would have brought my wife to. Management was good.'
