'It was a good hotel, we were visiting family in the area so was a nice base. We had stayed at other nearby hotels so wanted to try this one. It was okay for one night, we booked in for dinner. The menu is extremely limited for dietary requirements, with things listed as vegetarian that weren't and food didn't match description. We didn't book breakfast, again as similar wanted a much refresher breakfast rathan than a fry up. Gave 4 stars as was a lovely bed, very comfortable! The bathroom...

'Nice rooms behind the pub. So close enough and quiet enough. Enough space for parking. Breakfast is great, diner (curry!!) is super!!! Jon is a fantastic host.'

'I attend a conference in Hull every year and the hotel is very close to meeting building. I just cross the road to attend the conference. It is an old building but the room is clean and the bed was comfortable.'

'Fabulous location in the centre of town and within a short walk of the Minster. Beautiful and quirky decorated bar and restaurant. Excellent breakfast. Rooms are a good size and the furnishings are tip top. Best of all though, the staff are Fantastic, so friendly and helpful. Didn't want to come home'

'Stayed here on business and ticket all the right boxes. The room was a bit warm though, despite that the heat had dropped off these last few days. Nice bar area and nice selection of ales. The restaurant was in a real pretty setting. Easy parking in the vicinity of the hotel and they even had parking spaces in front of the rooms which are at the back of the property. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff. '
