'My family enjoyed our stay. We were welcomed in by staff. Every amenity was at the hotel; for example: the pool, the gym, breakfast $10 and complimentary coffee. 'The location is a bit further from the beach than I expected, but thats because I didn't realize there are 2 Howard Johnsons in Virginia Beach. There were a few minor maintenance issues, but overall we were pleased. It was clean and comfortable! The staff was friendly and we appreciated the complimentary coffee, juice and breakfast snacks. Given the moderate price, I'd give a thumbs up and would book again. '

'The tv in the lobby was too loud so I could barely hear the person behind the counter talking !!! Also the tile in the bathroom in front of the sink was busted and loose !!!'

'My daughters and I came to visit Virginia for the first time for my birthday. And from the very start the desk clerk which we didn’t catch her name and Mr. O was very accommodating to us. We were very thankful for that. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable we really enjoyed our stay there. Everything was included down to the paper towels , and well stocked . The breakfast was delicious and all the amenities that were included worked out very well for us. We will definitely choose this...

'We did not end up staying here as they did not have a pool. It was still listed on Expedia, but the pool had been removed last year. They gave us a refund immediately when we got there and found out the pool was gone. It was a family vacation in the heat of July.'
