'We had an unforgettable stay at Halekulani Okinawa. From the moment we arrived, the staff greeted us with the warmest smiles and genuine kindness — they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable.
Our room had a breathtaking ocean view that we enjoyed every morning and evening — it felt like a postcard come to life. The hotel’s facilities are outstanding: immaculate pools, beautiful landscaping, and an overall sense of calm and elegance.

'Very good hotel with a nice pool. It is a 30 min walk to the centrum of Naha. I found my room clean and everyone was very friendly/helpfull.
However, sugestions for inprovement:
1. Nearly all name tags at breakfast where in Japanese. I could not read it.
2. A shuttle bus service to omochi station (if I spell it right) would be nice or an coorperation with other hotels to arrange a shuttle bus.
3. Improved internet service on the Island so I can take a cab if needed (this one is not a hotel...

'Ik heb dit hotel ook in November geboekt. Echter hadden we nu de premium kamer. Wat een heerlijke kamer! We hebben er echt van genoten. Prachtig uitzicht. Het enige kleine minpuntje was het raam bij het bad. Het leek erop alsof deze lek was. De ramen zijn toevallig schoongemaakt tijdens ons verblijf, maar deze bleef vies.'

'Ryukyu Hotel & Resort Nashiro Beach is pure paradise! From the moment you arrive, the warm welcome, elegant design, and breathtaking ocean views make you feel like you’ve stepped into a dream. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with every comfort, many offering panoramic views of the turquoise Okinawan waters.

'Especially liked the spacious rooms compared to other places we stayed at in Japan.
Heated pool (31degrees C), large breakfast buffet, indoor shop, lots of free amenities such as hair oil. Easy parking for a small fee. Friendly staff.
Small side note: pool bar is only open during high season (3 months in summer)'

'An absolutely fantastic stay. Super clean. Lovely staff- very helpful. I will stay again. Next time I’ll have a car though as it is a bit remote for the area. Door dash and taxis don’t like to come out that way. But the hotel! The hotel odds perfect.'

'Great hip hotel in Naha. Close to the port where we were coming from. Easy to get a taxi to anywhere. The room was very small however and the bathroom we had in whole Japan (even Tokyo). Yhe design of the hotel was very nice. Hotel staff very friendly, accomodating and problem solving! Food was great in the restaurant/bar/lounge. Love it!'

"The rooms are huge and the view amazing. The beach is not that nice as the one of the hotel nearby. In July the place was full of families with toddlers. What ruined the experience for us was the plethora of rules and restrictions eg around use of the pool, which made it very hard to relax. Also, you needed to present a voucher for almost anything like comfortable beds at the pool. The extra costs for the pool beds and other services in the hotel were ridiculously high. But most of all there are real safety concerns. The hotel is occupied mostly by Chinese guests. Staff rarely speak any English with the exception of a few. One night the alarm went off and there were loud PA announcements in the room in various Asian languages but not one word in English. We had to evacuate as the emergency exits were blaring to do so. This created panic as we had no idea what was happening. Having experienced a fire before in my life, I know that seconds can matter. Not having any sense of what was happening was deeply upsetting and a real safety concer for future guests. The hotel apologized when we raised the issue afterwards but seemed unaware or unconvinced about the need to communicate in English about such things. "
