'I stayed at Hotel on Monroe, BW Signature Selection with my son, and unfortunately the room fell well below expected standards. Cleanliness was the biggest issue. The floors were so dirty that after walking around barefoot, the bottoms of my feet were literally black. It quickly became clear that housekeeping had missed more than a few key steps. The shower was another challenge. It was partially broken and made showering feel like a test of patience rather than a basic amenity. Add to that...

'Pretty much a good hotel with ample parking. The staff was very friendly. Be mindful thereis no elevator in this hotel, so if you have a lot of luggage either leave it in the car or be prepared to lug it up a flight of stairs. Another thing that surprised me was that there wasn't a refrigerator in the room. My family and I had leftover Cheesecake Factory that we threw away due to this.'

'They are not pet friendly. They are pet tolerant. They will take $50 from you if you bring a pet. Exorbitant, excessive, unreasonable, and unflinching. I also have not yet been refunded my incidental charges deposit'

'The staff was kind to move us from second floor to first when I told them that I had trouble with steps - there’s no elevator. There was also no breakfast and we received only one tiny sliver of soap for a two day stay. No clean towels on the second day.'

'This place is absolutely gross! The smell was horrible everywhere. The toilet was super dirty, the floors were gross, and the window was broken with tape on it — definitely did not feel safe at all. There was also a strong smell of marijuana in the hallway the entire time. I know it’s cheap, but honestly I would rather pay more than stay at this gross place again. I hate giving bad reviews, but people should know before booking. Do NOT stay here!'

'Other than the bathroom door sticking and making it difficult to open and close easily (I mean, it really got stuck), room was great and fit our needs. Staff were pleasant, accommodating, and so helpful (shoutout to Jessica who checked me in!). Restaurant staff bent over backwards to make drink special requests, and beautiful smiles when serving our delicious food. Thanks for a great wknd! Close to all that Rochester has to offet!'
