'We stayed on the third floor of the tower and had a perfect view of the ocean and sunrise. The balcony shielded the wind somewhat. The location of Shutters is perfect for walking or short drives to restaurants. We could see the Kitty Hawk memorial from the parking lot side of the property.'

'Room was clean enough, bed comfortable, combination of a/c and room dehumidifier made it rather noisy, but if you turned either one off the room became rather clammy. Overall, it was ok, but not my first choice if staying in Manteo again.'

'Stayed for only one night, but it was satisfactory. It was clean, and the amenities included a microwave, which was great. Wished there was a blow dryer, but since we brought our own, it wasn't much of an issue. Overall, really recommend. '

'We like the quaint, beachy feel of the hotel, and the views from the 2nd and 3rd floor deck of the ocean. It's very walkable to Jennettes pier, stores and restaurants. We have stayed here probably a dozen times over the years.'
