'We were pleasntly surprised to see clean, neat and tastefully furnished room inside the casita after the rustic looks from the outside. Conny and her family went all out to make us feel welcome and our stay very comfortable. No noise pollution, very quiet. No light pollution, we could see stars which we can't see in the cities. 'Lovely owners, great place under the stars. The carriage was a bit to amall for my tall husband, but the owner fixed it by giving us another place to sleep. There we slept very well. Good breakfast. Back to basic in a very good way.'

'Walden Retreats was a most enjoyable stay! I will definitely be back. The room was clean and well equipped. The staff was professional and courteous. My only recommendation would be to have more than one cart to drive up the hill. Beautiful views!'

'So I travel 110 days a year minimum and stay in hotels all the time. I get so sick of staying in hotels. When I found this place I was so happy to have a change of scenery. I had no idea though how it would go. All I can say it was the most amazing relaxing place I’ve stayed this year.
