'The boutique hotel was beautifully decorated as were the rooms. It was surprising that the kitchen in room had everything we needed for a 5 day stay. Love the nearly full size refrigerator. It made it easier for us to not eat out all our meals. Freezer capacity was nice for frozen treats and freezing water bottles for our picnics. Location next to HEB grocery store super convenient! Only drawback is the surrounding area is transitioning. '

'Beautiful modern room with great amenities and very clean. The only downside is if you get a room that faces the street, you will hear the band playing from the bar across the narrow street. '

'Love the location. Dark hallways. Room was musty, towels weren't dry. Ordered fresh towels, they came very damp. Ordered more and explained why - they brough more damp towels. Flashing smoke detector light on a very high ceiling in sleeping area super annoying. Parking $45 a night, for South Congress? Come on man. Same price for self'parking? Bed was just ok, pillows just okay, room service isn't late. Overall I give this an overpriced MEH.'

'We had a faulty fire alarm. Woke us up midnight. It kept going for more than a few minutes. Terrible.'

'Easy to checked in. Elevator wasn't working the whole weekend I was there. Front staff didn't made me aware that it wasn't working until I saw the, "out of order" sign. I stayed in a suite, the bed was comfortable. Kitchen and living room area were fully equipped. As soon as I arrived, I checked the room. I noticed trash in the dining trash can, one of the glasses was still dirty and they had forgotten to put var soap. Everything else was in places The room had no AC, so would need to leave...

'I had a good stay at the Courtyard by Marriott Austin South. It’s a solid business hotel with everything you need for a comfortable trip. The room was clean and well kept, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and I appreciated having access to a pool, gym, and bar/lounge. The staff was welcoming and nice. The location was also convenient, close to the freeway and near a Walmart, which made quick stops easy. Overall, a reliable and very pleasant place to stay in Austin.'
