Guests need to pay very close attention to the dress code for the onsite restaurants. My husband showed up to the Italian restaurant in some dress khaki shorts and a polo. He was told that he couldn’t be served because he wasn’t in pants. He had to go back up to the room and put jeans on. I would have considered his shorts more dressy than his jeans.
