'The place is small and the deck was great overlooking the lake, but only accessible thru the bedroom which was only accessible by a small spiral stairwell. We could not get our suitcases up the stairwell which was too tight. There is great outdoor space, but we went in the winter and it was too cold to enjoy it all. Bed linens were great but towels were small and too few. '

'This was the perfect getaway! As a woman, solo trips can sometimes be a little daunting but this stay was a perfect balance of being peacefully secluded yet close to others. I went to college in Austin, stayed a year after, then moved away and yet despite being familiar with the city, staying in this home felt like I was visiting a place I’d never been before! Highly recommend. It was beautiful!'

'The host was VERY responsive, always available to help to answer any questions, and very kind. The lower rating is not from the EXCELLENT customer service, it is from the property. The photos should really be updated to reflect the current condition of the house. I love the small touches that greeted us (cute folding of the toilet tissue, towels/wash cloth, paper towels, etc.) There were several renovations to the home (kitchen, flooring, downstairs bathroom, etc). 'This rental is extremely well appointed. It has all of the conveniences needed for your stay. The deck area is outstanding. The furniture is beautiful as well as comfortable in form and function. The decor is tasteful yet quirky in true Austin style. Super easy access to the Austin Light Show at the holidays. A 5 minute walk to Barton Springs pool for a quick plunge. You will love it!'
