'Very accommodating hosts, the farm is expansive with very friendly horses, chickens, goats and a pig. The dogs are understandably protective of their flock, which is a good thing out in the country! We stayed in the bungalow, which was clean and the bed was comfortable. I would stay there again!'

'Located right off the Main Street (hence the name.) Quiet location, clean, updated/modern and very spacious. Great option when visiting family in town. A needed location in Victoria. FYI: There are a few steps to access the room. '

'This cottage was walking distance from our relatives , which made it very convenient . We had our sweet dog who loved the local park as well. Host was very responsive and the cottage was spotless…. we even got to enjoy the views from the deck '

'The guys I work with booked this house to get out of the normal hotel stay. The house has two bedrooms and a pullout couch April to accommodate all of our people. The bathroom is a jack and Jill and very convenient for getting up in the middle of the night. The train was loud at night, but I grew up in Indiana home of the train tracks. I’m used to it. The refrigerator door does open loudly so if you’re trying to be quiet at night, it’s a dead giveaway when someone’s in the fridge that everything...

'My friend got married at a family farm near Powhatan, and we couldn’t find a hotel that wasn’t 45 mins away. Then my girlfriend found this home and it literally made our little mini vacation. The owner is nice, and the horses are super friendly. Didn’t get to take advantage of the horseback riding, but if given just one more day, we for sure would have!'
