'This adorable home had absolutely everything you can dream of. It was incredibly clean and well appointed down to Keurig pods with little International delight creamer packets. It’s very private with big trees all around. You really feel like you’re in the middle of nowhere but not far from town. We had some of the best dinners only a short 3 mile drive from the house. 'Best way to describe this cozy little place. We've stayed before & will book, again, next time we travel to Clayton. In fact, we won't travel to Clayton unless we can stay here. It's completely charming, close to the Boat Museum, an easy walk to the central shopping/eating area, and a long stone's throw to The River. Communication with the landlady is easy & thorough. Parking is a breeze. All photos posted are accurate & true. It's a charmer!'

'We booked this house for our guys annual fishing trip and we all had a great time. The location of the house to the boat ramp, bars and restaurants was perfect and the ability to dock the boats at the house was really convenient. The owner of the house was super thoughtful and welcomed our group with a "welcome basket" of goodies to start our trip right. Very clean, comfy and plenty of amenities. We'll definitely be back! 'Everything about the cottage and dock were as described. The views were great, quiet, relaxing. The wineries were very good, and the fishing off of the dock was great, we caught perch, catfish, large and small mouth bass. Location was perfect right between downtown Clayton and Alex bay. Susan and Ben responded quickly if we had a question. I would recommend this cottage.'

'This is a great spot if your looking for a central location while visiting the Alexandria Bay/Clayton area. Close to all marinas, restaurants and tour boats. 'I personally enjoyef my stay the only downside is bunkhouse didnt have a ceiling fan. No airconditioners but the set up is nice. The water was a bit to choppy for swimming but was beautiful to see in the morning and evenings. There is ample parking and enough yard for my littles to play safely from the road. The owner was pleasant and called to check on us to make sure we settled in good. I would stay here again thankyou!'

'Very clean nice home. Only big suggestion is a propane grill rather then the small charcoal grill. Also shower door and regular door in bathroom of master bedroom need attention. Owner very accomadating. Would rent again- with hopes of different grill.'
