'This was the perfect property to stay in while we visited Mammoth Cave. The beds were comfy and plenty of room for playing games at night or watching a movie. If the ferry is open its a quick 25 minute drive to the caves. Our first night a big storm hit and the ferry was closed all week, so we had a 50 minute drive to the caves, but enjoyed the drive each day.'

'The house is private but you can see rooftops through the trees. The lake is close and there is a down ward hill to get to the water, not too steep and doable with bad knees. One really cool part of the house is there are multiple places you can escape to for alone time or having a listen to the sounds of nature on the patio, etc. the kitchen had an impressive selection of cookware and dishes. 'My husband and I planned a stay with our girls and both our dads to make some memories. We found this amazing cabin and booked right away. It was even nicer in person than described. Only about 30 minutes from mammoth cave. They had plenty to do in the cabin when it rained and we all got to enjoy the hot tub post our hikes. We enjoyed competing on the shuffleboard table as well! If you are staying in the area, choose this house, you will not be disappointed.'

'Communication with the owner was excellent, the best I've had with a VRBO rental. The property is brand new and was well suited to 4 adults and 3 elementary school aged kids. Location was good, but it is a 50 minute drive to the National Park.'
